Assistant managing editor/design / Newspaper editor: Directed the daily editorial and visual success of POLITICO’s print edition until its retirement at the end of 2025. Received personal commendation from co-founder John Harris, who described my leadership as “indefatigable” and noted that the paper’s quality had “never been higher.”

Spearheaded the evolution of POLITICO’s visual identity, bridging the publication’s early aesthetic with its current sophisticated, standardized illustration style.

Design director: Managed a high-output design staff while overseeing the production of a daily newspaper and multiple glossy magazines. Collaborated closely with editors, photographers and illustrators to ensure visual cohesion across all platforms.

Print designer: Executed layout and design for the daily newspaper, specialized magazines and high-revenue advertorial sections.

Redesign consultant: Partnered with the staff at Fort Drum and the Watertown Daily Times to overhaul the military base’s newspaper, implementing modern typography and streamlined layout structures.
