about bill
For more than a decade, I ran POLITICO’s newspaper, bringing a newsy and professional look to a publication seen multiple times per week on Capitol Hill. I’m also a highly skilled designer, responsible for the foundation of several of POLITICO’s illustration styles.
Beyond POLITICO, I’m founder and executive editor of The Omnicosm, the home of Snackology, Popculturology and The Cold Open. Across these newsletters, I write about fun food, pop culture and SNL. I previously wrote about television for TV.com.
Before moving to the Washington, D.C., area to work at POLITICO, I held the positions of 1A designer and Sunday editor at the Democrat and Chronicle in Rochester, N.Y. I also redesigned the newspaper at the Fort Drum military base shortly after graduation from St. John Fisher College, where I had been editor and chief and executive editor at the Cardinal Courier, the college’s award-winning student newspaper.
